I'm an active duty Marine advisor to a reserve unit that has over 100 trucks and a complete repair shop- that's where I found it.... I believe it is a Snap-On kit, though, so you should be able to find something similar at a specialty parts/tools store (although I hate to think of the price....).
I tried the screwdriver/grinder thing first also.... No luck but my screw was a mess. Maybe it'll work for you. Good luck, go slow. No shame in getting a guy who is good at this stuff to help you out (that's the other benefit of my current assignment- I've also got an experience mech who wrenches on everything from go-karts to 5-ton trucks....) (he did the drilling!)
